I saw Hook a week ago.

I was marathoning "movies that were once my favourite" and going for those nostalgic memories.

It had some interesting moments, but it's very simple and cringeworthy at times, had to to skip through when the corny Disney score began playing and stuff.

It's not that I expected any different, it's a kids movie from that shiny 90s lies. But it's a great exercise to watch again a movie you haven't seen in 20 years, it's like entering your grandparents place as an adult and feeling things are way too small, when it is in fact you that have grown up. It feels like I was settling things down with my past, taking it again, remembering what values I had, getting over issues, seeing how ridicule certain things were and so on.
