The first third with the Goose is great and the first half of Bradley Coopers story is good as well but very quickly sinks. I think the third act with Dane Dehaan is pretty underrated though.

Bradley Cooper's story was decent and seemed like it could be heading somewhere good but then the time jump happened which I didn't really like. Plus I didn't think the third act with the kids was handled very well.

second act is the only weak part of the film, the setup and payoff with the goose+kid arc was fucking great

I really thought during the third part that the two sons were gonna fall in love and have gay sex which of course didn't happen. The way it actually goes is better for the movie as a whole I think. Also the part with Goose was pretty suspenseful. Bradley Cooper's part was interesting to me and I liked seeing how they recreated the one scene where he tries to give Eva Mendes the money back, before she didn't want to take it from Goose.
