Agreed although I understand why they had to trim it down (and they barely did). Also the whole runaway girl thing and actually making it clear that Moss did NOT cheat on his wife (the last scene he has in the book drinking the beer with her is perfection, got damn). And having Chigurh waiting in the parking lot while Ed Tom searches the motel room was super creepy.
