Japan has the most respectable art film cinema and most significant directorial names

Mass market chinese films are cheap flicks but there are plenty of good highbrow films, probably slightly edging out the koreans

Korean mass market films are generally quite good, average level of quality seems higher than the average for chinese releases

Japan has a huge concentration of masterpieces. 50s-60s Japan might have been the best time and place for film period.
China has some masterpieces, but is mostly stifled from the government
SK has nothing but modern meme movies

Japan hasn't made good films in decades.

Korea continues to push out decent to great movies over the past few decades.

China has no good movies and will never have good movies because chinks are sub-human and only know how to talentlessly ape hollywood with no real understanding of why Hollywood does what it does.
