i fucking love the leftovers, it's so great. all the main characters are great, especially kevin, nora and matt and the actors play it like it's the performance of their lives. it's beautifully shot, imaginatively conceived, feelsy and artsy but still not afraid to be funny and silly.

that said, the following shows are better:
