in the beginning ryan is pretty most the protagonist but then he dies
And now Jake, who had previously been a background character, suddenly becomes the protagonist, it just didn't sit right.

So I saw this and it strikes me as a really bad attempt to make Blindsight as a movie.

Like, the people making this wanted to make Blindsight but were told that they couldn't so instead they came up with this. A shame really.

It's pretty much Alien for the modern cinema going audience who have never seen Alien. Since everyone on /tv/ has seen those movies, it's definitely not for us.
