I liked it, the visuals were pretty cool. Sigourney was cool, most of the actors were cool. A bit disapointed we didn't see a firefight of any kind (shooting at aircraft, and at an unarmed dude doesn't really count).

I wonder if the next movies are going to be in any way connected to this one, because that was a more than open ending.

Like a film student's first project if they had access to good CGI. The voice-over was hilariously bad and it just kept going. The entire 20 minutes has a voice-over and it simply doesn't stop blathering on about the same shit. The woman telling the black dude to use his powers on a voice-over, it's literally 5 minutes of the same sentence phrased differently repeated over and over while some boring action goes on in the background.

The voice over is cliche and fucking terrible. Show don't tell is like 8th grade writing theory. If you have limited time then why split it up into three completely unrelated parts instead of just having one strong short narrative? This short film was completely reflective of his career where he was constantly all style with no substance. All the neat concepts and cgi won't save you if you can't make a cohesive narrative or character.
