My favourite movie as a kid

I'm so glad I was able to see it at a young age. It planted some real creative seeds in my mind.

Only thing is that you can tell what happened is that the art director got approached by Disney and said "Make the movie you want" and he proceeded to but then because it's a Disney production they said "add a goofy robot and wacky xd humor" to appeal to the audience of young children.

Wasn't ideal but there's no way you could ever turn down that opportunity.

The reviews and sales don't lie, buddy. After Lilo and Switch and Emperor's Groove, Atlantis and Treasure Planet were a real disappointment, despite having pretty good art.
