Anybody here who can recommend me good movies about angsty teenagers being edgy/depressed/anxious that is vaguely related to high school/relationships/friendships stuff?
Something along the lines of Palo Alto, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Heaven Knows What, maybe even Breakfast Club.

I am 24 years old you fucking neckbeard, stop larping as an internet tough guy and give me some good recommendations.
I don't really think it's the tone you're after, but since I can't think of any better recs you haven't mentioned: Manchester by the Sea
Girl Interrupted

Mean Creek is pretty great.
The Adventures of Sebastian Cole
The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys
Saved!
Juno
The Science of Sleep, though it's about a man in his late 20s. I prefer it over Eternal Sunshine.
Thumbsucker
Submarine
Someone already said it but I recommend Ghost World. Mystery Train is neat too of course.
Can't recommend The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I could barely make it 10 minutes into that thing and I saw that kid once at a house show and didn't care for him.
Oh yeah, "Igby Goes Down". Had trouble remembering that.
Can't really remember much else atm. The Adventures of Sebastian Cole is at the top for a reason. Good luck!

Watch Brick, it's this noir detective movie but it's set in a high school, it's very well-made and probably fits the tone you are looking for
