I finished watching this evening. I was disappointed. Struck me as very formulaic and predictable.

Also not horror. That being "messed up" is the phrase I often attribute to SK cinema, Oldboy and The Red Shoes being examples that stick out to me.

It's not horror they're good at. It's nail-biting thrillers. Or more specifically revenge flicks. And yes, I saw a film analysis that saw it some sort of cathartis against Japan for past traumas to the country.

The most bizarre part of this movie is when evil business guy accuses the group of being zombies, so they decide to exile them to the railcar behind them.
Now it was bullshit, but why would they trap themselves between known infected and potentially infected?
