Ultraviolet isn't much better. I did like some of the color contrasts they used, though.

I'm so glad I never watched it. The show is legit the best animated sci-fi ever.

I watched it last week. There were some good things about it. For example, it didn't have the same blue & orange, dark steel generic CGI look that most middle-budget SF has. I'm not saying it looked good, but at least it was visually a bit different. And there were some nice touches, like the spine plants, the messages transmitted in drugs, Charlize's weird black eyeball, the marble weapons she used, etc. Overall, it was mediocre, but watching it wasn't a complete waste of time.
