Yea but it tried real hard to be a horror. I think the first one was actually intended to be a horror but the graphics were so ridiculous that it ended up being classified as a comedy. You can tell that there is a lot more seriousness in the first one whereas they went to the extreme with 2 and AOD which gave it more silliness...especially AOD.
