Gina Rinehart owns 10% of channel 10. That's a controlling stake. She would guide the philosophy of the channel. I'm sure that guide was to push for all kinds of pozzed shit that helps big business slash costs.

She would've thought of Channel 10 as a propoganda unit that would be nice if it profited but not the whole concern.

The other shareholders, not being the richest people in Australia, need to see some return on investment.

So they bailed once it became obvious it couldn't be both propoganda and profitable in the way it's being run.

Expect to see it run like Fox/CNN in America in the future where it's both profitable and propoganda. It'll probably look more like SkyNews with never ending news.
