Why did they give them the typical Disney/Dreamworks eyebrow raised face?

Why didn't they just give them the facial expressions of the emojis? The point of emojis is to convey those specific expressions.

It's not like animated posters have never existed without that eyebrow raised facial expression. And the characters they based them on ARE just facial expressions.

The poop emoji doesn't have a smug eyebrow raised smirk.
