The MCU is staggeringly original, it brought the spectacle of cross-overs and big team-up events in an interconnected universe from comic books to the cinema and it's made them more money than any other movie franchise and every other studio is pathetically and terribly trying to copy this shared universe by making these generic movie's he's complaining about.
