Bell and chigurh have similar style but their beliefs and rules are clearly polar opposites. Bell knows to accept that he's outmatched and retires feeling like a failure that can't keep up with modern criminals. Moss doesn't have many rules, and doesn't accept that he's some random Vietnam vet trying to outsmart a psychopathic contract killer at his own game and he ends up dying because of it out of greed and stupidity
