Iron Man 3 (besides the final battle, which was there just because it had to be) is a great shane black film, with an actual character struggling to get their goals. It sucks shit that Age of Ultron totally retconned the ending.
Man of Steel is a personal thing. Besides the ridiculous parts of the final battle, I enjoy it. No idea why, and I don't try to defend it if someone doesn't enjoy it.
