Since this thread sucks, I just wanted to ask about a movie I saw when I was a child:

It was about a couple and the guy buys his wife some ring from a stranger (?) and when she puts the ring on she goes maniacal and tries to kill him.

Glad she ditched that lousy haircut after season 1. Any you know, a part from that Mongol episode in season 1, Carter avoided all the "stronk woman" cliches. Any other good/believable depictions of female soldiers?
