That dialogue is important and it implies Luke. But my bet is the producers were a bit embarrassed how 'Jedi' and the prequels drove the paternity-test subplot off the rails and that bit of oblique dialogue is all we're gonna get about Rey's origins. If we get any more it will be visual cues.
