Would films like Ace Ventura or Ace Ventura 2 be allowed in today's PC culture? With the transexual plot of the first film and the African tribe plot of the second film. I love those movies, but I think modern audiences would find them problematic.
A very small group of people would make a big fuss about it but most normies would still find it funny because in reality a majority of people are still pretty disgusted by trannys.

not even things from 4 years ago would make it in today's PC world.

Definitely not Ace Ventura 1. The whole realization scene is objectively transphobic.
Ace Ventura 2 might be seen as controversial (muh white savior trope) but would redeem itself because the white man was the real villain in the end.
>Frank Drebbin would be called a transphone today

comical dick is allowed by fcc, scary fully erect monster comming at you is not allowed in the land of the free
No, its objectively transphobic.

How is it transphobic? If Ace was simply disgusted by the man on sight alone that would be thing, but he committed a sexual act with someone he thought was a woman. If a tranny lies and tricks you into a gay act, it's transphobic to have a negative reaction?

Blaire White nails it

Also, Ace didn't assault the tranny or yell at the tranny. He just went home and had a private moment where he cleansed himself physically and mentally and then moved on.

In /current year/, not referring to trannies by their delusions is transphobic. Besides, the whole movie clearly frames the villain as only doing HRT as a means of getting back at Dan Marino.
