The problem with these arthouse horror movies is how they're marketed. They're marketed like The Conjuring and Paranormal Activity, straightforward horror movies.

More often than not these films are just atmospheric dramas and not horror movies. But Chad and his bitch were sold on your misleadingly edited trailer and leave the theater pissed. Studios only have themselves to blame.
