Antz was too obnoxious. It was an adult animated movie that didn't bother to be either adult or kid oriented and fell somewhere in the middle with big-name stars that kids wouldn't give a shit about, like Woody Allen and Sharon Stone, but that parents who might have seen Casino and Rambo would recognize in confusion and agree to take the kid.
Antz was bright and fun, same fucking end but with a much better plot to get there with the bird and the circus and the grasshopper bikers.

What's there is a good, but it's pretty slow for selling itself as spy action.
Has a distinctive and interesting style, but it's very reserved with it, like a sitcom without a laugh track I think people who went in looking for goofy spy action turned off their brains and didn't find much obvious prompting for what they should enjoy about it.
