If you can't see the critics are bought off by Disney then you're a fucking idiot. Wonder Woman is the first time that Disney kind of NEEDS muh feminism films to succeed because of their investment in said films, so they let that one slip, and look how evident it is.

DC heroes have childhood trauma, most Marvel heroes don't. They come into their abilities when they are adults. Marvel didn't feel comfortable making up ridiculous origins for the characters, so they don't.
