Not asking which is a better film, hopefully looking for un-biased opinion
IRON MAN
Marvel's FIRST film in their new shared Universe. Headlined by a character that arguably could not be said to be in the 10 most popular for the publisher, and far from a household name. Starring an actor who at the time had passed his peak (Terence Haward was the highest earner on the film!). The Director's 4th film.
WONDER WOMAN
DC's FOURTH film in their new shared Universe. Headlined by the third most famous character and a household name. A character that already recently appeared in film featuring the publishers two biggest characters and considered by many to be the best thing about that film. Directed by an Oscar nominated director's 2nd film. First female superhero led film in just over a decade.

Iron Man. Wonder Woman wouldn't even be made if Iron Man didn't prove that superheroes are popular. Also it was a logical step because of all the pressure to have a female superhero. It couldn't fail.
Iron Man
>If Iron Man failed, there would be no super hero movies. Including the DC movies. Stars wouldn't be fighting to be in Super Hero movies. Headlining a super hero movie would not be considered a star making move, more of a ticket to comic conventions if the acting career didn't pan out.
Wonder Woman
>If Wonder Woman failed, an army of Brony neckbeards on the internet would write that it's secretly a Zach Snyder masterpiece of symbolism, women would be tricked by the studio into believing that the only reason it failed was because misogyny, and even though it would at best make a modest profit after Blue Ray sales, we would still be watching Justice League in a few months.
