But I've been disappointed in almost every horror movie I've ever seen. The genre probably isn't for me

Absolutely not, the babadook is the pleb's favorite horror. Not a bad movie, but certainly not good or interesting. It's the kind of movie that isn't good enough to leave anything up to audience interpretation. Also that kid is not a good actor.

I rather enjoyed Mama, but I know many people dislike it. The VVitch is certainly a great movie.
