It's real and the differences have already been listed.
>Intercut with MJ visiting Harry is a scene of Peter ominously looking at the box where he keeps the black suit.
>The scene where Peter apologizes to Mr. Diktovich and calls Mary-Jane is cut. He apologizes to Ursula instead when she tells him that MJ called, and it immediately cuts to Peter meeting MJ on the bridge.
>The second act is slightly reestructured. After MJ breaks up with Peter, he sees Eddie's fake picture and goes to the Daily Bugle to expose him. There's a new shot of Spider-Man swinging away from the Daily Bugle.
>Only aferwards that Peter meets Haryr and finds out he's the other man that MJ has been seeing and later goes to Harry's house. The scene plays differently, with Peter already on the couch when Harry gets home and threatening him, followed by the dance montage.
>After Sandman reforms following the sewer battle, there's a minor scene of him watching his daughter play in the park and turning into a massive sandcastle for her.
>The scene with Aunt May in Peter's apartment is removed entirely.

Fuck Raimi. He intentionally sunk this movie just because he didn't like Venom. He knew exactly what kind of movie people wanted especially judging from the 2007 Comic-Con teaser which is notably more dark and Venom-centric than the actual film. The critical failure of the film is all on him.

If you are making a Spider-Man movie and have to retroactively and ham-fistedly turn a classic villain into the person who killed Uncle Ben in order to make them interesting enough to be one of the main threats of the movie then maybe that's a sign that you should rethink having them be the main threat of the movie.
