This is such a disgustingly normie movie. By the uncreative, self-abosrbed people for the uncreative self-absorbed people.

Like, they can't just unironically explore space because they want to learn more. They are looking to save humanity from... blight! Holy shit, they are fleeing failing crops and possible climate change to a planet that can't support any kind of life.

And we are supposed to symathize with a whiny brat who never seem to outgrow notion that she's more important than the rest of humanity.
