Pretty comfy movie, Kubrick has this timeless comfy feeling of perfection in all his movies, his attention to detail really shines through in every scene. Id say its rated about where it should be by most people. Theres no one going around praising it as the best ever, most people just think of it as a good horror drama.

The most overrated movie Ive seen lately was Mad Max: Fury Road. How that melodramatic piece of shit has an 8+ rating on IMDB is just baffling. Shit acting, shit story, pathetic attempts to shoehorn emotion into it, objectively cool action scenes, but no tension to them at all because there was no reason to care about any of the characters.
