Egalitarianism isn't about stating that men and females are equal.
Egalitarianism is about providing equal opportunity for both men and women to advance if they have the individual skills and talents to do so without being stonewalled, with a focus on all parties producing wealth for society as a whole.
Feminism is about forcing equality for all women irrespective of competence or incompetence, substituting one injustice with another; and giving them superior grounds by shifting existing wealth from one hand to another, while giving excuse for no production being made by women. Society loses as a whole in this case.
