the "Egyptians were Black" superstition to create this:

Look at the views and the date of the video, it all started after the AoE II expansion.

"We" posting started as an expansion pack to that game mentioned here >>83767181

The guy on /v/ would constantly make threads about the expansion pack and he'd get banned. He then took it over to /int/ and they turned the meme into what is today. It started as a joke with the Portugal flag shopped onto the black guys head scarf and you would respond to Portuguese posters with "t.alberto barbosa" and that pic.

That meme got old then people started editing other flags onto it and it was used to mock people who bragged about their countries powerful history (Italians,British) and it went from there.

The original term "We wuz kangs n shiet" derived from /pol/ as they would post images from black propaganda sites where they would portray ancient Egyptian kings as black men. Hence "We were kings" but turned into ghetto slang for satire purposes "We wuz kangs n shiet"
