Are they really making the 5th season to be like the first three? I appreaciated season 4, but it felt incredibly uneven and, while the payoff was good, there were so many boring storylines.

It was also very cheap looking. Hopefully they put more money into it now.

This show, like reddit, has no jokes. Just references.

References contain no comedy. Nothing about them is in itself humorous. People only laugh at their own involvement with the reference, at the fact that they get the joke and feel like a part of something. It's essentially masturbation.

Nothing about this show is funny. The only thing that makes people happy watching it is that they get to feel clued in about something.
