Am I the only one on this board that has seen this movie?

It's kind of a forgotten Steve Martin comedy. Pretty solid entertainment though if you like Martin check it out. Sure the Jerk, 3 Amigos and LA Story are better but this one is worth at least one watch

I think I saw some of it on tv once. Did Carl Reiner direct this one? Who else is in it?

It's on my watchlist. Starz has a pretty good selection of random Steve Martin movies. He's one of those actors who makes any mediocre movie at least watchable just by being in it.

Also, I watched Novocaine a few days ago and I still don't know how I felt about it. I feel like it didn't commit enough to being comedic or dramatic.

Its ok at times but it hasnt aged very well.
Specially when the "lonely guy" is basically a normie.

Is still worth a watch if you like his movies.
