The death of Eric Cartman

Band Geeks, objectively. Also one of the greatest pieces of television history.

>>83734065
Rock bottom was overplayed though
>>83734065
rock bottom is patrician
>>83734011
Every single joke in this entire episode lands and the musical number at the end is just the icing on the cake.
Well this is a no-brainer.
>>83734145
>peas in a can pie
Classic.
>>83734011
*Chocolate With Nuts
>>83734011
So overrated. The fucking robot episode is better
>>83734278
No accounting for taste.
the very first episode of rick and morty because it felt like a wacky adventure and rick wasnt so much of a jaded burrrrp god isnt real character
>and we're looking for a special kinda-TREE morty!
that fucking stupid delivery always makes me laugh and they never do anything like that anymore. The excessive drooling, the way rick doesnt always have a scowl on his face and doesnt serve as the im smart and everyone else in the room is dumb so wait till i dish out my sick cynical one liner so everyone things im cool character, it was just much more relaxed, less forced
>>83733719
A contender, but I disagree.
>>83734011
Band Geeks is great, and all, but it's really overrated.
season 5 episode 3 of samurai jack
either that or season 5 episode 2
either way it was all downhill after episode 3
>>83733719
nope
only other acceptable answer is the last episode
Or the one after it
there are a lot of contenders for south park from seasons 1-6 and even through 8 but the true patrician episodes are the red badge of gayness and the lord of the rings episode.

THE WINNER TAKES ALL
>>83734193
The single best episode of the entire TF franchise.
>>83734465
That was the first episode of that show I watched. Really couldn't have picked a better one.
The Gang Group Dates might be my favorite though.
>>83734465
best moment from that episode
Quiet! You'll summon him.
>>83734438
That's not Toys in the Attic
>>83734465
This is the best episode to show someone who has no idea what the series is about. All the characters are at their best.
>>83734482
I like balance of terror more desu. I think the episodes when they are in the real world (or something resembling it) are neat but slightly gimmicky and overrated.
Pretty hard to decide, honestly.
>>83734812
>I think the episodes when they are in the real world (or something resembling it) are neat but slightly gimmicky and overrated.
I always thought they were among the worst episodes and kind of defeat the whole "Where no man has gone before" thing.
>>83734825
Which is the episode where Johnny is running around going 'yeehaaw!'? That's the best episode.
>>83734880
Yeah that's my problem with them. I still enjoy them but they don't deserve to be called the best imo.
>>83734907
Shoo Ed. It's definitely in the top 5.
>>83734743
it's max comfy senpai
This episode is the best because the music fucking owns
>>83733719
Baby won't you
I'll never understand why so many people hated the tone shift, for me it's when the show became watchable in the first place let alone started living up to the immense hype.
>>83734440
Great episode but the end fight wasn't that good.
>>83735325
Its great because its how a regular Jack 1v1 goes, at very best for the antagonist. If you're going through the episode getting attached to the character, as is intended, eventually realizing this is still called "Samurai Jack", the ending being strikingly predictable in that sense feeds the nihilism that film noir is supposed to give you.
Its a great execution of style imo.
For a show that's 75% garbage, this was better than the driving episode.
>>83735323
Because you're watching anime.
Anime is watched by anime fans.
Anime fans are socially stunted outcasts who require escapism to the point of needing 500 episodes of the
exact
same
thing.
The end scene made it for me.
>>83735002
Hand Banana was definitely top tier
The Magnificent Ferengi and The Visitor are also acceptable

This is such a good episode.
It's season 1 so Mulder and Scully have been working together for a little bit but still don't have the bond that they get in later seasons, so they still don't trust each other 100%, which fits perfectly with the paranoia theme.
It's an episode that could only have been done early on in the series.
>>83736310
I think the Rock Bottom interview is a small masterpiece. Even if I forget everything else about the episode I'll never forget it.

The Sopranos: "Whitecaps"
The Shield: "Of Mice and Lem"
True Detective: "Who Goes There"
Breaking Bad: "Half Measure"
The Wire: "Middle Ground"
The X-Files: "The Host"
>>83737702

My wife tried to turn me on to Supernatural and so far I really can't get much into it. Whenever we watch it it just makes me think of The X-Files and how the main storyline was more interesting. Supernatural has some good episodes, but in my opinion the show weakens as it goes on. We're only about to the end of season 4, so it might win me over yet.
