What I want to know, why would David feel the need to copy Walter's face wounds when the other characters hadn't seen Walter injured? That serves no purpose other than to trick the audience. But then, if it is Walter's body, why no healing?
Maybe he figured Daniels didn't know Walter could heal, and having the remaining cuts made the lack of nail injury more convincing to her?
