Been following since season 1. A fucking decade. And I like it.

It didn't really go to shit. As far as sitcoms go, the first 5 seasons were solid. Anyone could tune in, not having seen an episode before, and understand the gist of the show from a stand-alone episode. Most shows pre-syndication are like that.

After that, all the romances started falling into place and everything you wanted to happen started to happen. And if you grew attached to the characters, you liked it. Everything for the past 5 years has been character development. The jokes aren't really as good anymore... lots of hit and misses, but that doesn't bother me. I'm in it for the characters and the storyline.

The show is feel-good, and it's really good escapism. I love it and even went to a taping in season 3. Fight me.
