ITT: Post films were narration is used to good effect, and where the film would have been worse without the narration. I cant come up with a single example outside of pic related.

Apocalypse Now is not a correct answer, it would have been better without Sheen's narration.

Casino's narration is far better than goodfellas, I just love how it cuts abruptly in some parts for dramatic effect, it uses the narration way more cleverly and it's much better overall imo
