Wrrong. Nora's story needed closure and so did their relationship.

Yeah bullets can go through you. If they don't hit an artery/vein/organ, you don't just fall over and die.

Embarrassing way of outing yourself as a pleb, to be completely honest with you, familia
>>

>all that time nora and kevin could have had together

they would have been if the writing wasn't stupid. She says that the guy who made the machine build one because she asked him too. Why the fuck didn't he build one before her? Surly being a scientist this would be in his nature. To inform the other side that travel was possible. That people can travel to between worlds, too see loved ones that they lost. But no he only build one because she asked him too.
It's hard to feel sorry for them when the writing is so stupid.
>>

7 was the finale
8 was the epilogue/closure for Nora episode

Kevin was never told Chris Sunday's song was actually to bring the rain before he went to the other place.
>>

>Possibly had real psychic powers
What makes you think Isaac had any powers? He was pulling the same con that John and Laurie were
If anything who showed any sign of having real powers was Johns dad/step dad (I can't remember if it was his dad or Erikas, but the guy who sent kevin to the hotel the first time)
>>
>>83682839
Congratulations now you can take a side in the debate on whether she lied or not. But that's a pleb debate.

No one could have possibly know that Meg's mom ordered shitty salad. He was magic.

Kevin was magic too. His father possibly too but he may have been a conduct to Kevin and not really magic. Kevin is literally confirmed to be the messiah, the second coming and immortal. Yet he chose to destroy infinity to be with Norah. Anyone who says this wasn't' a love story is a retard.

Black daddy was knowledgeable of the occult but wasn't magic itself.

It was crap. Worst show in history. Cancelled because of low ratings. Nobody watched it.

Ended in hilarious disappointment.

Kino has quickly become synonymous with crap. You know that once something is called "kino" it has already attracted the wrong kind of audience and it's almost certainly total garbage.

I watched the whole series from the start, it had its moments, I really wanted it to have an ending to justify all the bullshit.

But no, it wasn't kino, it was faux-profound bullshit that retards eat up because they can't tell the difference between an authentic good mystery and a writer just ass-pulling a bunch of random shit to seem mysterious.

None of it is connected in a meaningful way. They are all just a bunch of superficially intriguing set-pieces that amount to fucking nothing more than stringing on the viewer with the promise that it will all somehow make sense.

Instead, all the mysterious shit meant absolutely nothing in the end, and we're supposed to forgive it because awww, it was all about love and soul-mates in the end.

I think she did and I will now explain my reasoning. I think the scientists knew or at least had a theory about where they were sending people and that is why they asked her the moral dilemma about the baby and cancer, and why they initially refused to send her. Knowing (or believing) that they were sending people to a largely empty world with children running around they were wary of sending dangerous people.

Terrible finale but this is the overall answer:
If there are 2 timelines, why not 3?
The departure incident split "our" timeline in two, the other side is the one Nora visits and finds the departed (as an aside the writing is crap, this world would be total anarchy not despondent-yet-happy-go-lucky).

Meanwhile Kevin is able to travel, through dying, to another timeline independent of the first two. However, when the departure happened another shift occurred, less noticeable, replacing some people in our timeline with their doubles from the timeline Kevin frequents. This is where the guilty remnant originates from, and now in our world starts causing problems. It would explain why their Evee, who Kevin encounters as president, is really the Evee from our timeline.

As for the part where Kevin admits to heart problems, this is the result of having the nuclear key placed in his chest during his hotel visit to the other timeline. The bodily-harm followed him back to ours and later caused damage.

Overall I give the season a meh out of 5, would not watch again.

I'm surprised not many people are questioning the authenticity of Nora's story. When the chamber was nearly filled, she clearly motioned to shout which I could only imagine was to stop the procedure. Also, with the whole subplot of the Nun having carnal relations with an aging bad boy, they hinted at the idea of 'just telling the better story'. I'm not saying that she didn't visit the other side, but I'm not wholly convinced either.

Also, why didn't Nora know that shooting at Godzilla with a nuke would only make him stronger?

Completely unrealistic pure fantasy garbage.

Any sane man in Kevin's position would chain Jill and Aimee in his house and rape them repeatedly.

The actual argument should be is it happy or sad that the most grounded character in the series is the last one to give into delusion in order to cope.

I like The Leftovers but The Wire is so much better than this show it's not even worth classifying in the same category.

The way I saw the hotel was just how a particular person perceives the afterlife or purgatory.

Wayne was just a con man who believed his own lie. People feeling better after being hugged was just a placebo effect. Nora not being 'cured' was proof of this.

The departure was a supernatural event and the dogs going wild was a part of it.

The GR was really underdeveloped. I'm not complaining that it didn't have more screen time, but it never really made sense.

If the book had the alternate kevin personality that existed only to force on-screen/conscious kevin into pre-baked dramatic situations, then, no, even the book wasn't entirely character driven. And the show became more and more plot driven every second it continued.

Not to mention the ATFEC were not characters, but plot devices, that existed to force wayne's plotline along.

There is really no way one can argue the show was even close to entirely character driven. As literally everything that happened was reactions to plotted events.

It was. it was lazy and sloppy, but it was actually the closest the series ever came to being about the characters. Then lindelof went full plot. term used loosely, of course, as lindelof can't actually write a plot. he can only drop endless intrigue that he can't resolve.
>>
I just watched the pilot and it wasn't very interesting. Best scene was the choke/jacking off. Should I watch more?

By comparison I watched the pilot of American Gods after and I'm on episode 3 cause it was very good.

>>83692256
I said first episodes like 1-4, most IMDb people vote their. the rest from then on is great

>>83683999
Locke dying
Desmond finally reuniting with Penny
Lost finale
Homeward bound
Patti jeopardy scene
Nora and Holy Wayne
Leftovers finale

I never so much as tear up watching any other show, but all these parts hit me so hard. All the hate Lindelof gets is justified for the most part, but he can write the shit out of characters and make me feel for them.
>>
I fell for it. I've realized they only put random mysteries in the show to make it more interesting but none was ever solved.
Kevin being Jesus, David Burton, the women in the car talking to Kevin before the SD, holy Wayne, the National geographic magazine. Just random stuff to make people go WTF for nothing

It was okay, it was just dogshit compared to the KINO that season 2 unironically was

Matt's episode this season was outstanding and could literally stand on it's own as a great film if it was edited right

so exactly like life. the main character was literally reading Camus in the first fucking episode. you should've known what you're in for. you're at fault here for keeping watching something you're clearly not interested in

Her doubt about being a lens were some of the driving force behind her actions in the last episodes.
So I would say yes.

But if you are looking for hard answers, then no. No scene where they did a exorcism, or where a cross-multiverse John Constantine saw her as a demon.
