you're presuming Fellows is writing a Robert/Cora movie. I am not so sure about that. Mary was always his favourite character and I'm more inclined to think if he was making a movie, it'd still feature her, meaning it's post-season 6. I would fucking love a Cora and Robert centric story with a younger Violet making Cora's life difficult and finally meeting Robert's father and cousins, but I feel like that's not gonna happen.

It's wasy to forget he spent almost 2 years in south-africa and being denied a proper place in WWI affected him greatly. and a young Bates would be interesting as well.

I personally would like to see Robert's father (who isn't even named in the show or in any additional materials. even Cora's father was given a name in some additional stuff) bc the fandom has such a varied view on what he was really like.
