It's extremely difficult to get poundage estimates of how strong gorillas and apes are because you obviously can't get them to max out. It has to be disguised as a game and they usually stop playing as soon as it gets too heavy to be fun. They would also probably bench press and squat less than you would think because of how their bodies work; they're optimized for pulling rather than pushing movements.

A couple measurements that have been recorded are a 165 pound chimpanzee doing a one arm row of 850 pounds and a 100 pound chimp deadlifting 600 pounds, both easily and without trying very hard.
