Well, I don't think you're onto something. However one thing I did notice that seems strange: the font used for the "3" and the font for the "15" are clearly different. And neither font corresponds to the font on the Great Northern key.
Many people speculated that the 3 and the 15 represent the years 2003 and 2015, but Dougie's world has lots of things that didn't exist in 2003, like tablet computers for instance.
