Any chance its good?

2017 has been a good year so far for film. Hopefully this trend continues.
It'll be better than The Void.

No. What will happen is the twist will be that the real enemies are the humans who made up a monster story
>>83623208
Ive never heard of them, are they really that shit?
>>83623278
They're the premiere producer and distributors of meme films, although they specialize in the meme horror genre.
>>83623278
Well the best movie I can think from them is Moonlight, which was just ok
>>83623318
Self-important 'film nerds' love them
>>83623320
their best is spring breakers
>>83623366
Let it be known that your numbers confirm this
Is this a movie about the cat and you get to see it's perspective in a horror view?
My hype was maximum when I thought it was a big forest monster, like a Wendigo or some shit
Now the trailers make it look like a virus that turns you into a Thing-esque human monster
which isn't bad, it's just not what I want in my heart, which is a big Rotting Deer 20 feet tall full 9 yards Wendigo movie

What? I they don't "specialize in the meme horror genre."
>Green Room
>Under the Skin
>Room
>Enemy
>The VVitch
>The Lobster
>Ex Machina
>Moonlight
>Krisha
They're small and they've only been around for about 5 years.
>A good kinohaus that consistently puts out interesting, unique, and qulity films comes about, and /tv/ STILL finds a way to hate them
Why? How?

I found a typo, you wrote >good near the end

>they don't specialize in meme horror

>green room

>under the skin

>the witch
7/10
>ex machina
2/10
mostly nu-male pleb bait flicks, don't tell me you fell for them
>>83623910
I cited a few of their movies from memeory. Go look at Wikipedia if you want. It's a misnomer to call them a horror label when a majority of their output isn't horror. If anything, putting out unique horror should be a good thing considering other distributors usually shy away.
>>83623278
They're not shit at all. That's like the most pretentious opinion you could have.
>>83623983
Okay, I'm not sure that "horror" was the accusation.
>>83623965
>my opinion >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your opinion
Looks like I win
>>83623127
Saw a test screening of this. Favorite movie of the year so far. Very similar in structure to The Witch, but more grounded. Slow, tense burn with everything going to Hell in the last few minutes.
Is there a chance the track could bend?
>>83623127
The premise and trailer looked good but I got the feeling it's going to be a subtle fuck white people movie due to how looks like it's about a white family taking two different minority families in and seemingly turning crazy/infected/possessed.
>>83625198
the witch was poop
pure poop
>>83623867
not a single good flick
>>83623278
They produce sort of mainstream 'art' films - alot of which are horror.
Under the Skin was fantastic, and the Witch film was only okay. Not sure about their other offerings.
