Why does everybody praise Nightcrawler so much? Seemed like a middle of the road flick to me. What am I missing?

It's like The Player, kinda a 'anti-movie, anti-hero' thing going on. So rarely done that people take notice if it's half way decent. Not too bad of a film.

Think there could be a fantastic take on this though via a different perspective / series of events.
