What does /tv/ think of critics?

They're just out of touch, this is for the FANS

Without being cheesy like you were, yes, critics are out of touch though.
And that's not even that they don't like the same things "regular people" do. It's that critics are hardly some knowing elite either.
You don't have to be anywhere near '/pol/' even to realize how pathetic critics are now.
The only opinions and comments that matter in my view are those of the best artists and creators themselves. What can anyone else really possibly claim to have offer?
They're out of touch with the fans. CRITICS think they know what FANS want, but really what FANS want is RAUNCHY, R-RATED SUMMER COMEDIES that make you PISS YOUR PANTS LAUGHING!

If only.
Critics:
"Look everyone, here's some stuff other people created that I know about!"
Critics:
"I couldn't make ANYTHING if I tried, but you should listen my views on what this actual talented person's work is REALLY about."

an occupation for creepy male feminists to spread their nonsense.
>>83585896
basically.
creepy male feminists who are actually likely pedophiles deep down.
There's a DISCONNECT between them and the FANS

butthurt critic or blogger detected. nobody is saying it's about "the fans"
fans are almost as bad.
>>83583305
critics are just viewers like the rest of the audience. the difference between a critic and other audience members is the fact that a critic is an attention whore who wants strangers to listen to his/her opinion of the movie
>>83583305
what kind of idiot decides to waste their life being a critic
