Chinese people don't like black people, and Hollywood will pretty much do anything to appease the Chinese since it's such a large market and you have to get approved to get your film into the country. Tinfoil hats will tell you it's because China owns Hollywood or something now, but in reality China only allows a certain number of films into the country a year so movies are being made with a pro-Chinese message, or getting rid of things that the Chinese government doesn't like.
