NBC is more a Burton film than a Sellick film is the reason why
Burton wrote and produced it. I'm pretty sure Sellick was only hired because he had more experience with stop motion. But it was definitely Burton's vision.
Also, it's full title is technically Tim Burton's The Night Before Christmas
