Possibly action films are not valued by male audiences for great action.

Possibly male audiences view action films as Daddy Worship, or as a wish-fulfillment mirror which would require a representative stand-in -- a male face for males to project their narcissism onto.

POV films can't fulfill the narcissism goal of action films without a totem.

Personally I'm with OP, it was the best action flick since Bourne and /pol-tv/ are faggots who missed out.

I watched Gamer three times and I see no reason to make such a shitty sequence. What would be the purpose of making a shooting sequence where you don't see what is being shot at, who is shooting, the side they are on, if they even hit something. If anything, it would actually damage the notion of any action game because you KNOW who your team is and what exactly is going on. Making it confusing serves no purpose. Or even six angles of a guy walking on a catwalk.

Do tell me how it's any better than Henry.
