Will virtual reality revolutionize cinema?
Yeah, but only after porn has already paved the way for it.

>That initial double take
Holy fucking shit
you mean like in "Ready player one" or how would VR work with movies?
>>83525785
>grope her
>grovel and apologise
>grope her again
Why do japs do this? If you're going to grope a bitch just group a bitch, don't act like a tubo faggot afterwards.

have some manners bitch
>>83525617
>those shaking hands at the end
Do you really need VR to get cucked though?
>>83526139
this is fucking art
>>83526139
The new punch-out! looks great

VR will essentially kill cinema as we know it today. VR is less a cinematic experience and more of an interactive one in the same vein as a video game. With motion pictures the story and director's intent is conveyed through sound and imagery. With VR people are unrestrained from the 'vision' of a filmmaker and are encouraged to discover a virtual reality for themselves. This level of interactivity is very uncinematic. There is no need for story, there is no need for an artist's intent.

god bless japan

>VR
It's not even real VR. It's nothing more but a gimmick. It won't change anything. Netflix and similar services will destroy movie theatres.

>even in VR white men get cucked

>video games cant be ar....
>>83526351
I watch Netflix in a VR theatre.
>>83526427
It's actually a pretty good proof that video games can't be art. And your funny memes won't change anything.

I assume you are talking about the graphics, because even the simplest VR simulations we have now are in every sense of the word Virtual Realities. Technology will hit a point in the future where the graphics will become indistinguishable from real life, and that's not something that is too far fetched to think about.

>tfw you agree with that pretentious spic
In the future vr films will be released with a list of times along with positions in space and viewing angles that the director deems to be the "canonical interpretation" of his film. you can turn on an options that lets the film steer your camera and enjoy it like a roller coaster ride or you can turn it off and look around
after the film is released fans will come up with their own interpretations and share their timelines

I think so. As stated in the /cosmere/ thread you based this thread on, Brandon Sanderson's wonderful and brilliant work The Cosmere is being shopped to studios using a completely new method - a seven-figure VR demo highlighting the world.
It's not only going to revolutionize cinema, it's going to revolutionize the way cinema is made. Cosmere. Check it out.

No, I'm saying that all this oculus and PS4 "virtual reality" isn't virtual reality at all. You still can't touch or feel anything. How is this reality?
>>83526139
lmao
>>83526472
Fucking how?
>>83526891
Maybe because it's garbage Japanese porn?
>>83526139
I seriously was not expecting that.

Truly a revolutionary device.
watched some movies on a 1440p phone and a cardboard, ergonomics isn't quite there but resolution is good
a vr headset, box of franzia, and some hot pockets is a viable alternative to no-singles theaters

>Bypassed the uncanny valley completely
Color me impressed
>>83527172
it's an actual body scanned person
>>83527205
That would explain it.
She still looks vaguely cg though.. what's causing that? Especially her body
>>83527235
Because it is CG, it's not like a flat video camera
her body is reproduced digitally as a 3d object and has actual depth information extrapolated using lasers
you can walk around her and touch her (with the right peripherals and assuming they give her accurate bounding volumes)
>>83527317
Dope.
I'm ready for the future
>>83525785
this is fucking hilarious, fucking japs
>>83527317
this also means if a movie studio body scans, say Emma Watson, and accidentally leaks the her 3d model online, people can make her do whatever they want
and combine that with cutting edge speech synthesis you can make her say what you want as well

What about motion sensing technology? I'm sure they can easily develop VR gloves that can give virtual sensations. The Switch with its gimmicks is not too far off from that idea.
