I think that David Lynch was quite accommodating of the women on set, and I'm not sure where you're getting this idea from?

He paid OUT OF POCKET to build so many unique, interesting, intricately disguised kitchens so they could still film a variety of scenes and scenarios while still allowing the women to be comfortable.
