I read Predestination's plot and was not convinced, but then my mother once was casually watching it and I joined her and found myself enjoying it as well, it felt unique in a way, interesting, as some sort of experiment in filming an extreme maybe impossible barely believable time travel movie experiment.

Why the fuck they always do that? Why so often you see movies trying to give a semblance of realism "you see we can time travel because bla bla Einstein bla bla bla Tachions" but then "oh I guess is just meant to be/destiny" That's not sci-fi that's fucking magic.

The only time I found myself "condoning it" in a way, was with 28.11.63 (or 11.63.28) because in a way time or whatever was an enemy a natural force that manifests itself by warping reality that was cool, that felt fresh.
