Thoughts on this movie?

This & Labyrinth were my favorite movies growing up
Absolutely classic.
I remember when I was a kid, and I didn't want to see it because I thought it was a movie for girls
I never watched it until I was like 18, wish I had seen it earlier

ruined modern comedy, wit is shit.

MAWAGE IS WOT BWINGS US TOOGEVA TOODAE
The whole first part with Wesley vs. Inigo, Fezzik and Vizzini and up until the ROUS is GOAT. But the rest is just simply pretty damn good up until Inigo vs. Rugen.

Princess Bride and it isn't close
>>83464790
I thought it was a real drama when I was really young, the rats and the eels also scared the shit out of me. Fucking classic.
>>83465477
fuck you, those fucking feels
It is great and top 3 movies to show a girl when hanging out. If you don't get laid to tPB, you ain't getting laid.

Fire swamp sequence was weak, it also slowed down a bit in the "getting the band back together" part. Other than those it was pretty tight.
>>83465869
>pretty tight
Brainlet here. I read the novelisation at age 11 and actually believed it was an abridged version of a real book by a real author named S. Morgenstern. Didn't figure it out until at least two years later.
>>83465913
Tightly plotted, not much fat to trim.
>>83465869
>fire swamp was weak
It was world-building stuff, and meant to keep the fantasy action alive since the rest of the film is regular human-on-human sword fights.
"The Princess Bride"? Isn't that like a Barbie doll girly-girl movie?
>>83464790
loved it
>>83464790
before this thread dies i've been watching interviews and behind the scenes stuff for the last hour or so, and this is probably the best one I found

You got fucking clowned in the last act, I can see why you're so buttdevastated
Great fucken movie.
I'd have had the giant rape Humperdink to death if I were Wesley but whatever. He deserved something worse after turning the machine up to its max while the dude was on it.
It's a storybook story.

Is this a kissing book?
